Corporate Mentorship Program
The Corporate Mentorship Program is a HUWIB program that partners HUWIB associates (mentees) with women professionals (mentors) in a variety of industries related to business. The mentors volunteer their time and knowledge toward advising the next generation of professional women in such topics as industry expertise, navigating the recruitment process, and advancement in the workplace. Mentees are provided with unprecedented access to successful women in their field of choice, and are able to reach out to their mentors via email, phone, or in-person meetings. Mentees with mentors in the Boston area also have the opportunity to shadow their mentors for the day and thus gain an inside look at their career of choice.
This year, the Corporate Mentorship will run from April through November, affording HUWIB women more time and opportunity to have meaningful interactions with their mentors. Mentees will also be encouraged to maintain consistent communication with their mentors over the summer, as they prepare for the new school year. There will be over 50 mentor-mentee pairings, with mentors in industries ranging from finance, consulting, global business, marketing and public relations, to food, hospitality, and even event planning.
The Corporate Mentorship launches on April 10th, with an opening speech on mentorship and relationships between women given by Susan Marine of the Harvard College Women's Center. We hope to see you there!
