The Shawmut Inn. 280 Friend Street – Boston, MA 02114 - (800) 350-7784. From T: Orange Line/Green-North Station, exit onto Causeway St. With Fleet Center on your right, head down Causeway, turn left on Friend St. (between Canal and Portland St.) and look for a sign that says "280 Friend St." on the right.  The Shawmut Inn has squeaky-clean rooms and includes continental breakfasts.  Queen beds $129, 2 full-size beds $139.  Each additional person $7, and cots cost $10.

From T: Green B, C, or D Line-Hynes/ICA, head left down Massachusetts Ave., cross Boylston St. and take the next right on Haviland ST., then the next left on Edgerly.  This small guest house is located in a row of brownstone houses. From the Harvard Square T-stop exit the station by the "Harvard Yard/Church Street" stairs. Follow signs for Harvard Yard, enter the Yard and bear left across it, exit by the north (Thayer) gate. In front of Science Center, turn right. When you leave the campus, you will be on Cambridge Street (along Memorial Hall) Irving Street is 3rd left off Cambridge Street, #24 is first house on right. A “shared bath, single double” starts at $105. A “full bed, private bath (for one or two)” starts at $125. A “queen bed, private bath” starts at $135. And a “queen & twin beds, private bath (up to four)” starts at $145.

Harvard Square/Westin Copley Place

To get to the Westin Copley Place from Harvard Square:

Take the red line inbound to Park Street. Transfer to any green line train westbound and get off at the Copley stop. When you exit the Copley T stop, walk straight up Dartmouth street. The entrance to the Westin Copley is just past the Boston Public Library (which will be on your right).

To get to Harvard Square from the Westin Copley Place:

Take the green line eastbound (to Lechmere via Park) and get off at Park Street. Transfer to the red line (to Alewife) and get off at the Harvard stop.

Logan International Airport/Westin Copley Place OR Harvard Square

To get to the Westin Copley Place from Logan International Airport:

Follow the signs to the MBTA, or Silver Line. Board the Silver Line bus and get off at South Station. From the bus terminal, follow the signs to the MBTA subway or "T." Take the red line inbound (to Braintree/Ashmont) to Park Street. Transfer to a green line train westbound and get off at the Copley stop. When you exit the Copley T stop, walk straight up Dartmouth street. The entrance to the Westin Copley is just past the Boston Public Library (which will be on your right). The full trip should take ~1 hour and cost $2.

Alternatively, take a taxi from the airport to the hotel. The taxi ride should take ~20-30 minutes, and cost $35.

To get to Logan International Airport from the Westin Copley Place:

Take the green line eastbound (to Lechmere via Park) and get off at Park Street. Transfer to the red line (to Braintree/Ashmont) and get off at the South Station stop. From the T, follow the appropriate signs to the Silver Line bus stop. Take the Silver Line that's going to Logan International Airport (indicated by large white signs). Get off at your respective terminal (sorted by airline). The full trip should take ~1 hour and cost $2.

Alternatively, take a taxi from hotel to the airport. The taxi ride should take ~20-30 minutes, and cost $35.

To get to Harvard Square from Logan International Airport:

South Station (buses & trains)/Westin Copley Place OR Harvard Square

To get to the Westin Copley Place from South Station:

From the bus/train terminal, follow the signs to the MBTA, or "T." Take the red line inbound to Park Street. Transfer to any green line train westbound and get off at the Copley stop. To get to South Station from Harvard Square:

Take the red line inbound (to Braintree/Ashmont) and get off at the South Station stop. Follow the appropriate signs to the train/bus terminal.

To get from Harvard Square T-Stop to Harvard Business School:
