Alison Ryu was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California. She attended Harvard where she studied Economics. On campus, Alison was part of Harvard Undergraduate Women in Business, serving as the Co-President from 2009-2010. During her junior year, Alison interned at J.P. Morgan in the Consumer & Retail Investment Banking Group. Upon graduation, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue an opportunity at The Walt Disney Company in their Corporate Strategy & Business Development Group doing internal M&A and strategy. After a year at Disney, Alison returned to NYC where she re-joined the Consumer & Retail Investment Banking Group and is currently in her second year as an analyst. While at J.P. Morgan, Alison has worked on M&A advisory deals in addition to equity, debt and high-yield transactions.
