Business for Good

HUWIB will be hosting our second annual Business for Good, formerly known as the Social Entrepreneurship Business Plan Competition, this year, in conjunction with the Intercollegiate Business Convention (IBC). Social entrepreneurship is becoming increasingly more important as modern businesses incorporate social responsibility into their missions, and this competition allows women the opportunity to get input on their ideas and develop them futher. The winner will have the opportunity to present her idea at the Convention and will receive coaching on their business plan.

The 2010 Business for Good competition winner is Lauren Braun, Cornell '11. To learn more about Lauren and her project, visit our IBC Business for Good page

National Women in Business

This year, the 2nd annual National Women in Business Summit (NWIB) will once again unite female leaders of business organizations from top schools across the country. The summit facilitates the development of a long-lasting network, and allows the women to share their ideas, leverage collective resources, and gain valuable insights from their peers and from top female leaders in the professional world. Last year's summit successfully drew top female leaders from Yale, Princeton, MIT, Stanford, and other prestigious universities, and allowed them to connect and learn from one another.
